Job Description SummaryWe are excited to announce an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Fort Myers, Florida Cardiology clinic! The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional, evidence-based nursing care to patients across assigned clinical settings. Performs patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, diagnostic coordination, patient education, and clinical documentation while supporting safe, compassionate, and timely care.In addition, the role performs a range of clinical assignments under general supervision, applying working knowledge and growing experience to recognize patterns and identify when senior consultation is needed. Decisions are made within established protocols and involve non-complex to moderately complex clinical situations. The job broadens clinical capabilities across routine case types and strengthens judgment through increasing experience in the discipline.How will you make an impact & RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Assess patient needs, collect clinical information, and document findings accurately in the medical record.Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and other nursing interventions within scope of practice and applicable protocols.Support providers during exams, procedures, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care activities.Develop and carry out nursing care plans in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary careteam members.Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns to appropriate clinical staff.Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions.Maintain compliance with clinical policies, infection control standards, safety practices, and documentation requirements.RequirementsAssociate degree or diploma in nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.Requires 2-4 years of nursing experience.Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state required.Working knowledge of nursing assessment, medication administration, care planning, patient education, and clinical documentation.Experience using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.Basic Life Support certification required where applicableAvailability: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.About Millennium Physician Group:Formed in 2008 and headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, with offices in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas, Millennium Healthcare is the largest independent physician group in the state of Florida and one of the largest in the United States.
