Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule

3-12 hour night shifts per week, with rotating call and weekend schedule.

Assignment Details

This is a PRN position. Assignment will end around December 31, 2027.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years RN Emergency Department experience.
• Flu vaccination (mandatory) required from October 1 through April 1, no declinations accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient conditions and needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Support patient and family education to promote understanding and compliance.
