Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role As a key member of the Engineering team, the Electro‑Mechanical Technician will work in a clean room environment, providing technical support, calibration, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance for medical devices. Responsibilities Provide support for equipment such as pneumatics, laser drills, label and inkjet printers, conveyors, corona surface treaters, induction tippers, balloon formers, vacuum formers, and other manufacturing equipment. Execute procedures for calibration, document completion, and consistently complete all calibration verifications on schedule. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, document completion, and consistently complete all preventive maintenance on schedule. Assist Engineering in fixture qualifications for new/existing equipment as required, including data collection and support of design of new equipment or modifications. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). Previous experience working with biomedical equipment. Strong hands‑on ability to maintain mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Ability to work with diverse cultures and language barriers in a minimal English‑speaking environment. Preferred Qualifications Troubleshooting of complex systems. Understanding of manufacturing processes. Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences, or related field. Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Benefits Paid time off and paid volunteer time.
