Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications ACLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS (AHA).
• Certifications NIHSS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Telemetry in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• Skills Assessment TEL skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 1 Supervisor reference within the last 2 years. 1 Charge RN reference within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I am willing to float.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee or traveler of this health system in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Central line care and management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) patient experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Heparin Protocols is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in the interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Isolation Precautions and PPE is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in IV insulin protocols is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience managing cardiac drips (no titration) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with the management of dysrhythmias is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, and Oxygen tanks is required.
• Additional Confirmations Peripheral line care and management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Post MI and Pre/Post Cardiac Cath patients is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with the use of Rapid Response and Code teams is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
• Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
