Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians (dependent on certification)
• Educating patients and their families on health promotion, preventive care, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medication and therapies as permitted by practice guidelines
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for synchronized, comprehensive patient care
• Accurately documenting all clinical interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
