What Your Role Entails

• Performing in-depth patient assessments, scheduling diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care approaches
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either collaboratively with physicians or independently (as per your credentials)
• Guiding patients and families in wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Involving yourself in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to patient care
• Meticulously documenting in electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Succeed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
