Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes and technology solutions to support Broadfield’s operational and strategic goals. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, evaluating system capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency and enhance user experience. The Technical Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders to identify gaps in current systems, recommend enhancements, and support integration between business processes and technology platforms. Additionally, the role includes creating detailed documentation, conducting system testing, and supporting training and user adoption and maximizing value. Task Execution and Support Collaborate with stakeholders, including decision-makers, systems owners, and end-users, to gather and define business, operational, and technology requirements that align with SHP and Broadfield’s goals and objectives. Assist in workshops and design sessions to prototype and optimize systems that enhance business processes, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Conduct market research on emerging technologies, software, and hardware to support recommendations for system upgrades or new acquisitions. Prepare and present detailed reports, recommendations, and alternative solutions to address system inefficiencies and operational challenges. Collaboration and Communication Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement new technology solutions and enhancements to existing systems, driving alignment with SHP and Broadfield’s operational and strategic goals. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitate clear communication and maintain alignment of objectives. Provide training and support to end-users, fostering adoption of new systems and helping to maximize value from technology solutions. Operational Execution and Support Design and document system models, workflows, specifications, and diagrams to guide development teams and support integration across the Broadfield platform. Conduct rigorous system testing, including end-user reviews, to validate functionality, performance, and alignment with business requirements. Execute actions to enable compatibility, interoperability, and security of SHP and Broadfield’s technology ecosystem, including legal operations platforms, AI tools, and cloud-based systems. Feedback and Continuous Improvement Monitor general technology performance and user feedback to identify areas for ongoing improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in legal operations technology to proactively recommend innovative solutions. Position Requirements Education & Credentials College degree strongly preferred. Knowledge & Experience Experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role, preferably in a professional services or technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques. Experience working with enterprise technology systems. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, to support decision-making and process optimization. Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to analyze and interpret complex business needs, translating them into actionable technical requirements. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with legal or professional services environments is a plus but not required.
