Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the deployment of innovative packaging equipment within a growing supply chain organization in either North Reading, MA; Boston, MA; or Irving, TX . This team is responsible for logistics, transportation, inventory, and fulfillment activities supporting new packaging technologies designed to improve sustainability and efficiency across the e-commerce supply chain.

In this 5-month contract role, you will coordinate transportation and shipment activities, work with third-party logistics providers, track inventory and equipment, and use data to support project execution. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a new technology launch while working closely with procurement, planning, deployment engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Manage order fulfillment, shipment scheduling, tracking, and delivery execution.
• Coordinate the shipment and delivery of fully manufactured packaging machines and related materials.
• Monitor inventory and maintain accurate tracking through spreadsheets and other available tools.
• Maintain and analyze large datasets in Microsoft Excel to support logistics planning, reporting, and decision-making.
• Use PivotTables, lookup functions, and other advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and organize supply chain information.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, warehouse, and deployment engineering teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Track materials, equipment, and products throughout the supply chain to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Support logistics operations for large equipment and capital project deployments.
• Coordinate with warehouse locations and other project sites as needed.
• Identify shipment, inventory, and delivery issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational challenges.
• Leverage available technology and AI tools to improve logistics planning, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and spreadsheets related to transportation, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, inventory management, or order fulfillment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and working with large datasets.
• Experience coordinating shipments, transportation providers, warehouse operations, inventory, or order fulfillment.
• Strong data analysis and organizational skills with a data-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with procurement, planning, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes may involve spreadsheets and manual tracking.
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in applying technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Experience with Kinaxis.
• Experience supporting large capital projects or project-based logistics.
• Background in construction, manufacturing, distribution, automotive, aerospace, or another complex project-based environment.
• Experience coordinating logistics for large equipment or machinery.
• Experience working with inventory or transportation data and developing reporting tools.
