Field Service Technician

Field Service TechnicianNewman Regency Group, a UFT company professionally represents top-tier manufacturers in the water and wastewater industry providing engineered solutions designed to preserve our most valuable resource.The Field Service Technician supports Newman Regency Group and its related products and service lines by providing technical expertise and customer support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, delivering technical assistance and consulting services, preparing job quotations, conducting customer training, and serving as the primary liaison between customers and the company's sales team to ensure timely and effective service. This position will be supporting Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.What you'll do:Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported technical issues in the fieldPerform equipment inspections and analyze findings to identify the root cause of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or system-related problemsRecommend and implement appropriate corrective actions, including repair, replacement, or adjustment of equipmentPerform startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, warranty service, and billable repair work on company productsPrepare quotes and estimates for repair work, as neededDiagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and control systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic componentsEvaluate equipment performance and make adjustments to ensure proper operation and reliabilityMaintain accurate service documentation, reports, and records of work performedAdhere to all company safety policies and customer site safety requirementsWhat you bring:Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be consideredStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systemsExperience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing industrial equipment, valves, actuators, or similar mechanical systems preferredExperience within the water/wastewater industry preferredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematicsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple service calls and prioritiesWillingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas to customer sites with occasional overnight travelValid driver's licenseJoin our team to innovate the future of water and wastewater.
