This exciting role will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of properties , overseeing day-to-day operations, building strong relationships with property owners and residents, and delivering exceptional service. JAMM Property Management currently manages 850+ units across Northeast Ohio, including single-family homes, duplexes, and small and large multifamily apartment communities.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Broadview Heights headquarters, where you'll collaborate closely with our team to ensure properties are managed efficiently and our clients and residents receive exceptional service.

As a Property Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for owners and residents within your assigned portfolio , taking ownership of property performance, resident satisfaction, client relationships, and the overall management experience. You'll work alongside our leasing, maintenance, and accounting teams to ensure properties operate efficiently, residents enjoy a positive rental experience, and our clients' investments are well cared for.

What You’ll Be Excited to Work On:

Property Owner & Client Relations

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, serving as a trusted point of contact for their property management needs.
• Provide detailed, consistent updates to owners regarding maintenance, leasing, lease renewals, property performance, and unit turnovers.
• Proactively communicate property concerns, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare property management agreements and coordinate the onboarding of new property owners and properties.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure owner expectations are met and property needs are addressed efficiently.

Resident Relations & Lease Management

• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with residents to ensure lease terms, property rules, and regulations are understood and followed.
• Assist with posting properties for rent through our company process
• Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements, renewals, and corresponding documentation.
• Manage lease renewal processes, including communication with property owners, residents, and internal team members.
• Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
• Oversee the move-out process, including coordinating inspections, reviewing charges, and preparing security deposit settlement statements.

Property Operations & Financial Oversight

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties to ensure they are managed efficiently and professionally.
• Monitor rent collections and assist with eviction documentation and proceedings when necessary.
• Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to coordinate property repairs, unit turnovers, and resident needs.
• Help ensure required property inspections, permits, licenses, and rental registrations are maintained and up to date.
• Identify property concerns and proactively coordinate solutions with owners, residents, vendors, and internal team members.

Team Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with our leasing, maintenance, accounting, and management teams to provide a seamless property management experience.
• Successfully execute existing procedures and help implement new systems to improve efficiency and service.
• Assist in developing and improving company processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Help establish consistent communication and accountability across departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve resident satisfaction, client retention, and overall property performance.
• Support the continued growth and success of JAMM Property Management.
