Welder - 1st Shift

We're looking for skilled welders like you!What You'll Do:MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding to join metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.Production Task Execution: Follow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks accurately.Material Handling: Maneuver large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane, as required.Weld Inspection & Finishing: Inspect welds throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes.Machine & Workspace Maintenance: Keep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols.Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.Cross-Functional Support: Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.What You'll Bring:MIG Welding Experience: Prior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required.Additional Welding Skills: Experience with Flux Core welding is a plus.Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous.Communication & Documentation: Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English.Physical Capability: Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.Attendance & Compliance: Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.Shift Endurance: Ability to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.Mechanical Knowledge: General mechanical knowledge is beneficial.Team Orientation: Able to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player.Attention to Detail: Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.Your Schedule:1st Shift - Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to work daily to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
