Research Technician

The Lal/Le lab at the Monell Chemical Senses Center is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to support research projects focused on neurodegenerative and metabolic diseases. The position will involve hands-on work with mammalian cell culture, including iPSC based cell and organoid models, with opportunities to contribute to studies integrating cellular, molecular, and imaging approaches in a collaborative research environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical sciences, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with stem cell culture and/or organoid systems
• Familiarity with basic molecular biology techniques (Western blot, snRNA sequencing, data analysis)
• Prior experience in an academic or biomedical research laboratory
