Description – What You Will Do

• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance on laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for testing as required.
• Diligently document all laboratory processes, guide training for new team members or student interns, and maintain the lab's high standards of quality.
• Uphold a sterile, safe laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation necessities.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) from ASCP or AMT obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure current certification is maintained throughout your tenure.
