Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a government location, where you will help support a professional and welcoming environment through visitor screening, access support, communication, and front desk presence. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $21.59 - $22.59 / Hour Job Schedule : Mon 04:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Sun 04:00 AM - 12:30 PM What You'll Do : Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening and directing visitors, and supporting security-related activities for a government location. Monitor access to the location by checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges when appropriate, and helping to control entry and exit activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed. Answer phones, provide directions, document daily activity, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to post instructions. Minimum Requirements : Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
