Field Application Engineer

We are conducting a nationwide search for a Field Application Engineer to support advanced embedded computing technology.
You do not need to currently live in Texas to be considered. However, this position is remote/home-based from the Austin, Texas area, so candidates hired from outside the region must relocate to the Austin area. Relocation assistance is available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future. What You'll Do- Provide technical pre-sales support and partner with regional sales managers on customer opportunities.
- Gather customer requirements and recommend appropriate embedded computing solutions.
- Support FPGA/DSP-based systems, RF, analog, and signal-processing applications.
- Present products, application solutions, technical capabilities, and technology roadmaps to customers.
- Collaborate across sales, engineering, product, and customer teams to solve technical challenges.
- Support opportunities from technical discovery through implementation and ongoing customer engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Customer-facing experience in field applications engineering, sales engineering, systems engineering, or technical pre-sales.
- Strong knowledge of embedded computing systems and hardware/software integration.
- Technical experience with FPGA, DSP, RF, analog circuitry, and signal processing.
- Experience gathering technical requirements and developing product or system recommendations.
- Strong technical presentation, communication, customer-facing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%, including overnight and multi-day trips, often totaling about two weeks per month.
Experience with aerospace/defense applications, VPX/OpenVPX, SOSA, MOSA, PCIe, or GPU computing is a plus.
