Contract (13 or 18 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Float within the hospital or to nearby facilities within the health system based on census and skill set, including high-risk respiratory units; candidate must be comfortable floating with no restrictions
• Maintain availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as required
• Collaborate with the nursing care team to support medically appropriate assignments across specialty clusters

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License (any active state RN license or compact license accepted for submission)
• BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• CPI, AVADE, or CalmEveryStorm certification required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department
• Comfort with floating to multiple units or campuses within a health system
• Familiarity with high-risk respiratory patient populations
