Registered Nurse - Med Surg 3E

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 3E unit. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional nursing skills and provide high-quality patient care. The focus is on maintaining high standards while adapting to the needs of the patients and the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Run and interpret telemetry equipment data, thus enhancing patient monitoring and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Utilize equipment such as Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, and Vital Sign Machines effectively.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 3 years or more of nursing experience preferred, especially in Epilepsy Care.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is advantageous.
