As a Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Burn Clinic, your voice influences patient care through collaborative relationships with direct managers, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives. Job Summary & Qualifications Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and state and specialty standards of practice. Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following the nursing process model “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. What You Will Do in Your Role Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to burn and wound care patients in a clinic setting. Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as demonstrated by active engagement in unit and organizational activities. Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. Hold accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a registered nursing program. Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse. At least one (1) year of wound care nursing experience highly preferred. Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire). Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
