Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist;Internal Medicine

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients Perform thorough patient assessments and evaluations Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Document patient progress in electronic health records accurately Participate in cases and rounds with hospital staff Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Internal Medicine Valid medical license in the state of Tennessee Minimum of 1-3 years of hospitalist or relevant clinical experience Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation Schedule: 7a-7p, 6p-6a or 7p-7a No call required Average Daily Census: 160 patients Average Daily Rounding: 18-22 patients Will round in the ICU Vent management required Support Staff: NP, Intensivist NP, Intensivist MD, and on-site administrative support Must be board-certified Paid travel and expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
