Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, providing gentle explanations at every stage
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging
• Manage and upkeep imaging equipment while quickly addressing maintenance issues
• Document procedures accurately and retain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of current advances in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
