Job Description

• This role focuses on assembling complete paint robots from subassemblies, ensuring each unit meets precise mechanical and quality specifications before shipment
• You will read and interpret blueprints and schematics, use a variety of hand and power tools, and perform detailed inspections to verify that all components fit and function correctly

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble complete paint robots from parts and subassemblies, ensuring all components are correctly installed and secured
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, assembly instructions, and parts lists to plan and execute assembly tasks
• Prepare work by gathering required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials before starting each job
• Use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, torque wrenches, impact drills, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and other mechanical tools to assemble and fasten components
• Position parts and subassemblies accurately using templates, measurements, and alignment techniques to ensure proper fit and function
• Apply products such as Loctite and other fastening methods as specified to secure mechanical connections

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, such as experience with automotive repair, backyard mechanical work, or industrial machine assembly and repair
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately
• Proficiency with a basic mechanical tool set, including impact drills, ratchets, hammers, Allen wrenches, and screwdrivers
• Experience using torque wrenches and applying correct torque specifications during assembly
• Capability to assemble, build, and repair mechanical systems using hand tools and power tools

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Auburn Hills,MI.
