This individual will report into our Inbound Manager and is responsible for the oversight, development, and accountability of the Receiving Team and Put Away Team. Stemmons Fwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234Schedule: This role oversees an operation that runs Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT and Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. CT (Saturdays run based on operational need). While this position generally follows a schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. CT, operational demands during peak and seasonal periods may require leaders to work additional hours beyond their regular schedule. Leaders are expected to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust their working hours as needed to support the business and their teams.Salary: $65,400 – $81,750 per yearResponsibilities:Oversee the daily functions of the Receiving team to ensure all material is checked in and put away in its appropriate location in a timely and accurate mannerFollow up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase ordersEnsure the receiving area is clean, safe, orderly, and functioning properlyLead shift start-up meetings and relay any staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound ManagerAssign work to Receiving AssociatesRecord and check the quantity and quality of products receivedEnsure POs are completed within the provided deadlineTrack the performance of each team member and provide consistent feedback regularly along with check-insEnsure individual and departmental KPI successConduct monthly check-ins with each member of the Receiving team in order to establish rapport and provide feedbackImmediately address all personnel and performance related incidents that ariseEnsure associates timecards are accurate and up to dateAttend and participate in the HR Leadership meetings twice a monthExecute all projects and process improvements developed in partnership with the Inbound Manager to support site growthAll members of leadership are expected to lead by example and maintain professional standards in the workplaceRequirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent1-2 years of leadership experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environmentProven experience overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standardsDemonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop associates to achieve departmental goalsWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and standard operating proceduresStrong understanding of safety practices and ability to promote a safe and compliant work environmentFundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics conceptsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently, multitask, and follow process and standard proceduresAbility to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independentlyEmployees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 poundsAbility to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per dayPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally to implement process improvements or operational initiativesFamiliarity with performance management, including conducting feedback sessions and supporting employee developmentWhy work with us:We have awesome benefits – We offer a wide variety of benefits to help support you and your loved ones.
