Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12‑hour shifts
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Strong skills in ventilators, ICP monitoring, and critical care drips
• Epic experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill Neuro ICU patients
• Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support
• Monitor and manage ICP, EVDs, lumbar drains, and neuromonitoring
• Care for patients with ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, TBI, SAH, seizures, and post‑neurosurgery
• Assist with bedside procedures (EVD placement, central lines, PEGs, tracheostomies)
• Document care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neurology, and critical care teams
