LICENSED THERAPIST

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional, you will be a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that high-quality, therapeutic services are delivered daily, with a strong focus on emotional, cognitive, developmental, social, and behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions aligned with program schedules Complete psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external agencies Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and staffing’s Ensure documentation complies with facility and regulatory standards Provide crisis intervention and facilitate special case conferences when needed Maintain a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment for patients Uphold all facility policies and regulatory guidelines Requirements: Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field Licensure: Must hold a current and active license in the state of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, PLPC, etc.) Experience: Previous experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations is required Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred Freedom Behavioral provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
