Come grow with us.What you'll be doing:Schedule: Full-time (36 hours/week) day shift, 6am-6:30pm. Working onsite at Eating Recovery Center's adult inpatient facility in Denver, CO. Active CO LPN licensed required.The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide and assist in direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, APP or physician. The LPN will provide medical management of patients and assist with environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies and procedures. The LPN will demonstrate performance consistent with the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan of the organization, demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice and treat coworkers, patients, families and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect. The LPN will partner with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.The LPN will cross train across ERC and Pathlight and may be required to float or be assigned to other locations/facilities within the Region. The LPN may be required to work on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.Essential duties and responsibilities:Performs all nursing care within scope of practice to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN, APP, or providerManages patient assignment within assigned shiftPerforms and documents vital signs, responses to treatment, education and nursing care and assists with other basic medical care tasks assignedReports abnormal changes in patients or patients' health and mental status to RN or provider in a timely mannerReceives, places and documents provider orders/communication in timely manner using approved abbreviationsEffectively labels, collects and processes patient specimensAdministers medications, injections, places and maintains nasogastric tube feeds, and provides wound care according to facility and state regulationsMay assist licensed provider with patient examinations and treatments by positioning, restraining patients, and assisting as directedPerforms all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errorsEnsures that care reflects goals of patient outcome activitiesContributes to individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the ERC multidisciplinary teamParticipates in daily controlled substance countAides in transition/transfer of patients to and from other units or facilitiesCollaborates with staff to assist with transportation arrangements for patient appointments outside of ERCResponds to emergency situations until emergency response team (911) arrives on sceneMust haves:High school diploma or GED (required)Active LPN license in the state job is held (required)BLS certification (required)Ability to keep patient information confidential (required)Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (required)Teammates working in a Colorado Residential Child Care facility (RCCF) must:be at least twenty-one (21) years of age orbe at least eighteen (18) years of age and work directly under the supervision of a teammate over twenty-one (21) years of age (required)Bonus qualities:1+ years of experience working with in the mental health field, IV skills/certification, knowledge/experience with nasogastric tubes (preferred)The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.Colorado pay range$33.79 - $38.15 USDWhat We Offer:At ERC Pathlight, caring for people is our mission and that begins with caring for our own team.
