What You'll Do

• Provide rounding care in ICU, pre, and post-cardiac surgery units
• Manage patients coming off ventilators and with open-heart surgery
• Assist with patients recovering from VATS, lung, and open-heart procedures
• Monitor and respond to patient needs during recovery and post-op phases
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams and ICU staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Handle 1015 patients on service at a time, ensuring quality care

What You Need

• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Experience or comfort working in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgical settings
• Ability to manage critically ill patients, including vent management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• OR experience, particularly vein harvesting procedures
