What you’ll need to bring:
- Valid and current SPED License
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Strong understanding of case management processes for students with IEPs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, caregivers, and outside specialists
- Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a full-time caseload of special education students
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conducting ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Facilitating meetings with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
- Serving as an advocate for students and ensuring access to appropriate resources and supports
- Sharing expertise and resources with other educators to improve outcomes for all students with special needs
This is a full-time position, averaging 37.5 hours per week, designed for a compassionate, organized, and knowledgeable special educator ready to manage a caseload and make a true difference.
