Full-Time Traveling Data Center Low Voltage Network Specialist – Paid Training
Location: Nationwide travel | Meta data center projects
Pay: $20/hr + $30/hr overtime
Per Diem: $1,400+/month, untaxed
Schedule: 60–72 hours per week

It is hands-on technical work inside major Meta data centers, where you will support the network cabling, validation, documentation, and readiness processes behind large-scale infrastructure. What you’ll do

• Execute network audits and verify that installed infrastructure matches drawings, labels, and site requirements.
• Validate structured cabling infrastructure and support network provisioning readiness across data center environments.
• Perform cable and network testing, document results, and identify issues requiring correction or escalation.
• Assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues by tracing cable paths, checking labels and terminations, and reporting findings to leads or network teams.
• Pull, route, secure, dress, label, and terminate copper and fiber cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber-optic runs.
• Install and organize cable pathways such as ladder racks, trays, J-hooks, and related support infrastructure.
• Support rack-and-stack activity, patching, cable management, and equipment-room organization in data halls, IDFs, MDFs, and network cabinets.
• Follow quality-control, documentation, safety, and cleanliness standards in a mission-critical facility. Clean cable routing, correct labeling, and testing are essential to supporting performance and efficient issue resolution.internationalwire+2

• Candidates pursuing a future in IT, networking, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or technical operations .
• Recent IT, computer networking, computer science, engineering, telecommunications, or trade-school graduates.
• Candidates with CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA coursework, home-lab experience, cabling exposure, or a strong interest in networking fundamentals.
• People who are comfortable beginning with the physical layer—the cabling, racks, pathways, labeling, validation, and documentation that keep network infrastructure organized and ready for use.
• Candidates who understand that this role provides relevant technical infrastructure experience , but does not guarantee progression into a specific IT job or direct employment with Meta.
• Must be able to attend a 2 day training in Phoenix AZ, then head out to work out of the state.

Requirements

• No prior data center or low-voltage experience is required; paid training is provided.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments.
• Availability to work 60–72 hours per week, including overtime as project schedules require.
• Strong attention to detail, comfort following documented procedures, and an interest in technical problem-solving.
• Ability to work on ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and stay active throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and professional, dependable attendance.
