Activities Assistant

Activities CoordinatorKnowledge, skills, attitude and energy to consistently provide resident centered care.Organizes and directs or carries out a program of activities which will provide entertainment, intercommunication, relaxation, opportunity to express creative talent and fulfill basic psychological, social and spiritual needs for all residents, subject to individual restrictions, limitations and interests.Encourage hobbies and craft activities. Instruct and supervise residents during craft activities and complies with safety regulations and policies.Helps in planning parties, provides games and encourages residents to assist in the planningEncourages social communication among residents through group activities and recreation.Research and recommend to Coordinator entertainment/educational speakers/church representatives, etc.Encourages residents to participate in religious activities to fulfill their spiritual needs.Encourages intellectual/educational development through literature, lectures and cultural events.Must be flexible to perform and accept other duties as needed or assigned by the activities director.Other duties as assigned.High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferredPrevious customer service or personal care experience preferredMust be willing to undergo criminal background check$17.00-$18.00 hourlyPart time position with 20-30 hours per week and every 3rd rotating weekend & holiday rotationPaid Vacation Time and Paid Sick TimePaid Holidays and Floating Holidays401KHealth/Dental/VisionDailyPayFree meal while on shift
