Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | Rotating Night/Evening Shifts | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting for patients across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses\n
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Rotate between night and evening shifts based on departmental scheduling needs, with primary need on night shift
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed
• Adhere to all compliance requirements including timely completion of onboarding labs and required modules

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• PALS certification – American Heart Association only
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor; may be completed during onboarding)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
• TNCC certification
• Experience working in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department environment
