Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in Lebanon, OH, where we design and manufacture our products for customers across the globe. We currently seek to fill the role of Machine Operator on second shift (M-TH 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM) to accurately operate various production machines, advancing KBC's mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical business. This position is also eligible for a 20% shift differential!

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processes parts following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications, while meeting scheduled router hours.
• Sets up, adjusts, and efficiently operates machine tools to perform operations requiring close/exact tolerances on products with various dimensions and finish specifications.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials into machine.
• Maintains and inspects cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Calculates and sets controls and programming to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance processing and adjusts machine controls as required.
• Cleans and maintains machine tooling and parts to ensure that equipment is in optimal production condition.
• Maintains and edits programs to fine tune process for optimum performance.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area and environment.
• Performs other duties as needed.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Vocational training course completion is preferred.
• Must be able to set up and operate manual machine equipment.
• Also required is the ability to operate forklift and overhead crane, read measuring instruments, and maintain machinery and equipment in the machining trade.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally; anything over 50 pounds requires two people, or the use of a lifting device.
