Machine Operator
Are you an experienced machine operator looking for the opportunity to join an organization that values your skill level and will work to help you to advance? Experienced operators can start at $23.00/hour (+$2.00/hour shift differential). Advancement opportunities include opportunities to grow technically or into leadership positions.
Shift: Days: 7:45 am to 8:00pm (2-2-3 schedule) Nights: 7:45 pm to 8:00 am (2-2-3 schedule) Advancement Levels: Operator B to Operator A to Production Tech
What you'll bring and what you'll do on the job:
- Previous machine operator experience required.
- Ability to follow directions (in writing and verbally provided in English).
- Effectively communicate information and direction to individuals and/or groups.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively set up extrusion lines to meet productivity, quality and safety standards.
- Ability to monitor, document and troubleshoot processes.
- Attention to detail
- Identify and perform autonomous preventative maintenance and/or raise concerns to the appropriate individuals.
- Focus on safety, quality and meeting customer requirements
- Ability to perform precise measurements using basic math and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers etc.)
- Ability to validate competency level within the required time frame.
