Sales Executive - Manufacturing - Hybrid

Job Details Sales Executive for a manufacturing company that manufactures components for self storage structures. Hybrid role - must be based in Greater Chicagoland. Compensation package base salary plus commission, benefits, PTO, remote flexibility. Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year. About us A manufacturing business within NW Indiana that manufactures and supplies components for the self storage industry. With 7 years in business, we have consistent clientele but are looking for more. We have a strong culture, care about our employees, and are excited to add someone in sales. Role Overview The Sales Executive will wear multiple hats including business development, marketing, visits to our plant in Hammond, and networking around Chicagoland. Qualifications 4+ years of sales experience (across any industry) – manufacturing experience a bonus but not required. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques. Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles. Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and business development skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships. Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field. Demonstrable experience in developing strategic sales plans and successfully meeting sales targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, competitive market. Responsibilities Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive growth and acquire new clientele. Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Negotiating and closing agreements with clients according to company policies. Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Providing timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs. Collaborating with marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies. Keeping abreast of new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board. Reporting on sales results and providing accurate sales forecasts to management. Help develop marketing strategies for our business, website, and related tasks. Benefits Competitive base salary ($75,000 - $90,000). Commission package (overall earnings into six figures).
