Diesel Mechanic
Trillium Drivers is now hiring a Diesel Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in the Cincinnati, OH area!
This is a full-time, long-term position with a stable company offering consistent hours and competitive pay.
Schedule: Candidate must have on-call availability. Ideal flexibility would allow for standard maintenance to be conducted during evening shift.
Pay: Salary at 80,000 annually
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial motor vehicles, including:
- Class A tractor-trailers
- Class B vehicles (dump trucks, straight trucks, etc.)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Complete brake, engine, transmission, and suspension repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to on-call service needs as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on Class A and Class B commercial vehicles
- ASE Diesel Mechanic Certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
