Millions of advertisers use Amazon's creative tools to build the ads you see every day - in video, display, audio, and streaming. Behind those experiences is a design team defining how AI-generated creatives, multi-format campaigns, and brand-safe asset workflows come to life. We're hiring a UX Manager to lead that team. You'll set the vision for what every creative building experience must be, partner with design technologists to deliver code-ready prototypes, and build a team culture where scalable patterns replace one-off solutions. Your work won't sit in a backlog - it ships to advertisers worldwide and directly drives campaign performance at scale.This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of generative AI, advertising technology, and advertiser experience. Your team owns end-to-end creative building workflows - from design concept through closed beta to shipped product - empowering millions of advertisers to produce high-quality creatives at scale.Key job responsibilities• Lead and grow a team of UX Designers who define how advertisers create, assemble, and optimize ad creatives across formats, surfaces, and funnel stages - from AI-generated assets to full campaign builds.• Own end-to-end product design from concept to production - establish foundational design principles and interaction patterns, and collaborate with design technologists to prototype production-quality deliverables.• Drive AI-first creative experiences - guide your team in designing generative AI workflows (image/video generation, agentic creative agents, AI-powered asset bundles) and define the interaction patterns that govern how these capabilities surface across the advertising experience.• Set and defend the AX vision - define what every creative experience must address, build reusable frameworks and scalable patterns that teams adopt without you in the room, and push back on one-off solutions when data proves they don't serve advertisers.• Navigate ambiguity and exercise backbone - align cross-functional stakeholders (PM, Engineering, Legal, Policy) on strategy, gatekeep intake, and find unified approaches when product owners have discordant views on implementation. Tie design decisions to measurable outcomes.• Build mechanisms for design quality - establish critique cadences, prototyping practices, and mentoring structures that raise the bar. Partner with Design Systems to ensure creative building tools contribute to and leverage shared standards across all advertiser-facing surfaces.About the teamThe Amazon Ads Creative Experiences Design team designs the experiences advertisers use to create and manage ad creatives. Our work spans AI-powered Creative Skills (image and video generation), agentic creative workflows, multi-format campaign builders, creative preview and optimization experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
