This missions of our services continues to be to demonstrate the Love of God at the forefront of our behavioral health, human services, outreach and evangelism efforts. We are seeking an individual with experience working with adults in recovery. 

The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist is a full time position that requires monitoring guests, identifying safety concerns, notifying safety personnel, and direct assistance with household management. This team member will occasionally be working with clients in emotionally charged situations and must be comfortable and able to maintain composure. They must be able to immediately identify the appropriate staff member to assist client in stabilization during these charged situations.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides awake supervision and monitors the environment for safety and security to individuals in a low intensity residential treatment facility. Responsible for communicating and consulting with program staff regarding clients’ conditions and functioning. Responds to crises and emergencies. Provides counseling and support. Performs routine facility maintenance tasks and other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have experience working with individuals with mental health and/or chemical addiction issues. High School or equivalent GED required or Bachelor’s Degree in human service. Must have a Certified Peer Recovery Certification or be a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor issued by the Department of Health Professionals.

WORK HOURS/DAYS:

Monday-Sunday (day, evening, night and and weekends)
