Job Description Harrington Langer & Associates is looking to hire a seasonal Tax Preparer for the upcoming tax season (now through mid-April). Because Harrington Langer & Associates continues to grow, we are looking to hire a seasonal tax preparer to join our team with 3-5 years of previous experience. Work Activities and Responsibilities: Enter client data into tax prep software Prepare business and individual tax returns in accordance with firm policies and applicable regulations Perform tax research where appropriate Provide basic accounting services as needed Other duties may be assigned in relation to accounting or tax work Minimum Required Experience, Education, and Certifications: 2 or 4-year accounting degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of tax return preparation preferred Understanding of basic accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation Previous experience with public accounting preferred Solid analytical skills High level of written and oral communication skills Exceptional client service skills Excellent ability to handle pressure in a positive and professional manner while completing assignments in a timely manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
