Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence Cell Therapy

Overview Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence (CI) will be the point of contact and support all aspects of a comprehensive CI program based on an internal consultative engagement with approximately 3–4 primary stakeholders to strategically support BMS' multiple myeloma portfolio, with a focus on GPRC5D and BCMA x GPRC5D CAR T. Delivers timely, relevant and strategic insights through effective communication of intelligence, manages external CI vendors/partners, and leverages relevant internal tools and platforms (including AI). This position reports to the Vice President, Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Foresight and works closely with the therapeutic CI lead for Cell Therapy who will provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and guidance. Key Responsibilities Execute the comprehensive competitive intelligence (CI) strategic plan for select multiple myeloma areas within BMS\' hematology/cell therapy portfolio, aligning with stakeholder priorities and strategic imperatives based on prioritized KITs/KIQs; collaborate with CI colleagues. Lead and manage all CI activities within budget according to the established CI plan. Ensure dissemination of competitive intelligence so it may be leveraged to answer strategic questions. Respond to ad hoc key business questions with expert analysis and timely delivery. Demonstrate and uphold high standards of business integrity. Support internal clients across functions (Commercial, Clinical Development, R&D, Access, Medical) with actionable insights. Qualifications BA/BS required; MBA/PharmD/PhD preferred. Minimum of 3 years of competitive intelligence (primary and secondary research) or relevant experience. Experience designing and facilitating competitive simulation workshops. Experience in hematology/cell therapy is preferred, particularly in multiple myeloma. Ability to quickly and independently build proficiency in new categories or therapeutic areas; strong business understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization pathways. Strategic thinking with the ability to synthesize and analyze across data sources and develop actionable recommendations; strong written and verbal communication. Initiative, curiosity, creativity, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments; proven project leadership with time and resource management. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams, manage expectations, and build consensus across geographies and roles. Familiarity with pharmaceutical CI data sources (e.g., Evaluate Pharma, GlobalData, Citeline, PubMed, SEC filings, clinical trial registries) is desirable. Proficiency in data visualization, strategic storytelling, and AI-enabled tools is preferred. Compensation & Benefits Location-specific ranges: Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $152,150 - $184,370; Princeton - NJ - US: $152,150 - $184,370.
