The Local AM Dispatcher role in Columbus, OH, is a key part of our operations team, responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities, supporting drivers, and delivering excellent customer service. JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 0600 START TIME, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE Responsibilities Dispatch drivers for local PUD's Coordinate Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) linehaul operations Communicate and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth logistics Handle customer service phone calls and respond to customer inquiries via email Process shipment paperwork and perform accurate data entry Maintain thorough follow-up on all dispatch and customer service activities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience in transportation or freight dispatch preferred Experience in transportation management preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Excellent organizational skills and dependability Professional and pleasant phone presence Strong customer service skills preferred Consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Compensation Salary is negotiable and based on industry experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
