Cashier - Parkhurst Dining

We are looking for a cashier to join our fun, fast-paced concessions team with Parkhurst Dining on the campus of the University of New England. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM 8:30 PM. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, provides outstanding customer service, and thrives in a busy environment. This position involves operating the register, assisting guests, stocking products, and helping keep the concession stand clean, organized, and ready for business. • Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
• Utilize the tools provided to stay organized. Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. Restock/organize areas surrounding the check out counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
