Key Responsibilities Perform assessments to evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within a home care environment, understanding their unique goals and conditions. Establish individualized treatment plans through comprehensive evaluations and patient discussions, utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. Develop and execute effective treatment strategies to help patients achieve their therapeutic goals, enhancing their strength, mobility, and overall functionality. Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, treatment responses, and necessary adjustments to care plans, ensuring compliance with documentation standards. Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on the use of assistive devices and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery and self-management. Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy by engaging in continuing education opportunities, professional workshops, and networking within the physical therapy community. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including children, adults, and seniors, each facing unique physical challenges. Your expertise will guide patients through the recovery process, whether they are rehabilitating after a surgery, overcoming a sports injury, or managing chronic pain. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you will help your clients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with Florida state regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and family members. Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills to manage documentation and progress notes. Flexibility and adaptability in your approach to treatment, allowing for personalized care tailored to individual patient needs. Preferred Experience While previous work experience is not required, any clinical rotations or internships completed during your education would be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
