372 Operational Documentation Specialist Clearance Required: Secret Mandatory Requirements Operational experience onboard SSN submarines Experience with Tomahawk employment while serving as FT2–FTCS Key Responsibilities / Tasking Provide SSN Fleet Support Develop operating procedures for Fire Control Systems onboard SSN submarines supporting the SLCM-N weapons system Prepare and maintain: Programming documentation Systems operation documentation User documentation Translating business specifications into user documentation Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to operational and technical documentation Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from an accredited college or university OR five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge and subject matter expertise in operational/technical documentation functions and applications OR U.S. Naval operational experience at the E4 level or higher Required Knowledge & Skills Knowledge and understanding of: Documentation processes Strategic, combat, and/or weapon system equipment Targeting documentation Operational documentation Training documentation Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrated Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including: MS Outlook MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Access MS Project Strong word processing and office administration skills Ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents Specialized Experience Requirements Six (6) years of concurrent specialized experience in three or more of the following areas: Operation of SLBM Fire Control Systems Operation of Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems Operating experience in SSBN Weapons Systems Direct fleet documentation support SDC is an EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disability Employee #J-18808-Ljbffr
