Serenium Therapy & Wellness is looking for compassionate, motivated Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCADC) to join our growing New Jersey-based practices. We provide both in-person and hybrid therapy and are looking for clinicians who want to make a meaningful impact while building a career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

As a Therapist at Serenium, you will:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate, ethical individual, family, couples, and/or child/adolescent psychotherapy based on your scope of practice and clinical expertise.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using a variety of sources, methods, and approaches, including standardized assessment tools when appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's goals, needs, strengths, and presenting concerns.
• Provide ongoing therapy and monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Collaborate with other members of the clinical and administrative team when appropriate.
• Participate in assigned meetings, trainings, conferences, and in-services.
• Maintain all required professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize electronic health records, scheduling systems, and other assigned technology.
• Continue developing your clinical skills through supervision, continuing education, consultation, and professional development.
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and stigma-free experience for every client who walks through our doors.

Our Outpatient Clinical Model

Serenium is an outpatient mental health practice, meaning our clinicians work with clients on an ongoing basis to provide consistent, meaningful therapeutic support over time. Our model is designed to allow therapists to build lasting therapeutic relationships while maintaining a healthy and sustainable clinical schedule.

For full-time clinicians, our general goal is 7–9 client sessions per day, depending on caseload, client needs, scheduling, and the clinician's specialty. We recognize that every day and every client is different, which is why
administrative time is built into the workweek for documentation, treatment planning, care coordination, and other responsibilities that happen outside of the therapy hour.

We aim to create a balance between providing access to care for the clients who need us and giving our clinicians the time, support, and resources they need to provide thoughtful, high-quality therapy, not simply move from appointment to appointment.

We encourage our clinicians to pursue additional certifications and specialized training, and we are interested in growing specialty programming as our practice continues to expand.

Whether you're an experienced clinician with an established specialty or a newer clinician looking to develop your clinical identity, we want to know what you're passionate about.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the state of New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCADC
• Able to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule, Monday–Friday
• Must be available to work
  at least two evenings per week
• Open to a hybrid schedule, fully in-person schedule, or fully virtual schedule where available
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, client-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting
• Specialized clinical training or certifications
• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, or families
• EMDR certification/training
• Perinatal or postpartum mental health experience
• Play therapy experience/training
• Experience working with trauma
• Bilingual/multilingual skills
• Other specialized clinical expertise
