Mammography Technologist Responsibilities Perform mammography procedures following standards, policies, and safety protocols. Review patient histories, schedule exams, educate patients, and prepare/administer contrast media as needed. Assist physicians with interventional procedures like fine needle aspiration and localization. Prepare equipment, select imaging parameters, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Position patients, acquire images, analyze results, and address image quality concerns. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and decisive judgment. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by ARRT; State licensure if required. BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire. Key Duties Conduct mammography exams, assist with interventional procedures, ensure equipment safety and quality, analyze imaging results, and maintain compliance with regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic
