Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Position Overview Senior Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Treatment and Conveyance, New England. Responsibilities Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of projects with increasing degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. Lead multidisciplinary design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance business development strategies. Support clients through the life of a project from studies, planning, design, compliance and permitting, construction as well as start-up. Assist other project managers on large, complex projects, including task management experience. Lead design efforts on projects and mentor early career professionals. Conduct existing facility assessments in the field and identify rehabilitation needs as well as provide construction services including shop drawings, RFIs, and change order preparation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (ME, NH, CT, RI, MA preferred). Extensive experience developing strong client relationships to market and deliver engineering design solutions for Massachusetts municipal water clients. Senior level project management expertise on the design of complex water/wastewater treatment or conveyance projects for municipalities in Massachusetts. Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems for water/wastewater projects and the ability to manage the development of contract documents for such projects. Strong technical background, including extensive knowledge of all project phases (conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration). Strong understanding of current federal, state, and local wastewater regulations, design guidelines, and permit requirements to support project success. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering. Client‑facing working relationship with MWRA. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Salary The base salary range for this position is $145,500.00 to $254,700.00. Pay is determined by location and experience.
