Sr. Embedded Software Engineer, DevSecOps

Salary: $86,800 - 165,200 per year Requirements:

• We require a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
• We require an active and transferable U.S. government security clearance before the start date, and U.S. citizenship is necessary because only U.S. citizens may obtain a clearance.
• We need strong programming experience in Bash and Python, including scripting and automation for complex workflows.
• We require hands-on experience with Git-based version control tools such as Bitbucket or GitLab in a collaborative development setting.
• We require practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as Bamboo or Jenkins for building, testing, and deploying software.
• We require experience creating and releasing containerized applications with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• We require strong proficiency in Linux environments, including scripting, configuration, and software deployment.
• We require familiarity with software artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory or comparable tools.
• We prefer experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• We prefer familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and with RESTful API integration.
• We prefer strong Linux and application administration skills, along with knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and configuration management processes.
• We prefer comfort with C, C++, and Java, especially for multi-threaded embedded applications and communications systems.
• We prefer knowledge of IP networking and related network protocols.
• We prefer experience administering Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.
• We value strong collaboration skills, a commitment to milestone delivery, and a focus on high-quality outcomes.

• We develop DevSecOps pipelines for embedded systems operating in air-gapped environments.
• We integrate tools, applications, and scripts into our development pipelines.
• We help evaluate and choose DevSecOps technologies that support automation for product development teams.
• We create applications and scripts that support software update integration.
• We automate testing, deployment, and software artifact generation within our pipelines.
• We work closely with cross-functional product development teams.
• We contribute in an agile SAFe environment.
