Accounting & Administrative Assistant
The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting daily accounting operations and office management. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional environment while contributing to critical business functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and update Excel spreadsheets related to financial and administrative tracking.
- Review, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence to appropriate departments.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
- Help maintain financial records and data entry in accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Assist with basic accounts payable functions, including invoice tracking, data entry, and preparing documentation for processing.
- Support accounts receivable activities such as monitoring outstanding invoices, updating payment records, and assisting with follow-ups as needed.
- Gain exposure to financial processes, compliance, and business operations in a hands-on learning environment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Competencies Required:
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, AP/AR processes) preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading, copy editing, and professional email etiquette.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with NetSuite or other accounting software is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable communicating with management, employees, and vendors via phone and email.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required:
- Hybrid Office-based position at our Alpharetta, GA Corporate office
- In office 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
- General office working conditions requiring long periods of sitting and computer work.
