About the Role Omni 360 Advisors is a growing multi-disciplinary advisory firm seeking an experienced Senior Business Tax Accountant to join our collaborative team. You'll manage business tax compliance and planning, provide monthly accounting support to small businesses, and help clients navigate accounting and tax matters. What You'll Do Tax Compliance: Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local business tax returns, including corporate and partnership returns; ensure timely and accurate filings. Accounting Support: Provide monthly accounting support for small businesses and maintain accurate records and documentation. Tax Research and Planning: Conduct tax research, identify planning opportunities to minimize liabilities and manage risk, and remain current on changes in tax laws and regulations. Client Service: Respond to tax notices, assist with audits and inquiries, build strong client relationships, and clearly communicate accounting and tax matters. Team and Process Improvement: Review the work of junior staff, provide training and mentorship, and recommend improvements to accounting and tax processes. What You Bring At least three years of business tax accounting experience preferred, including preparing and reviewing complex business tax returns. Experience providing monthly accounting support to small businesses is preferred. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations; excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and tax authorities; experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior tax professionals is preferred. Full-time, eight-hour shift. In-person in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to commute to Plainsboro or relocate before beginning employment.
