Sales Representative

Description As a Sales Representative , you’ll work with customers, answer queries, sell goods, handle payments and ensure that our products are attractively displayed. The role also involves setting sales goals, forecasting future sales projections, looking for ways to increase sales and improve efficiency and customer service, monitoring competitors, and training staff. Prior experience in customer service, account executive, sales representative, account manager, sales manager, or related roles is very helpful to success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greeting and assisting customers that come into the store day‑to‑day. Maintain working knowledge of inventory, vehicle fitments, tire types, etc. Assist customers in finding in‑stock wheel and/or tire packages for their vehicle. Compile quote sheets for customers. Go over quote booklets with customers prior to Accounts Management assisting with full agreement contract. Inform customers of payment options and program details including referral, warranty, and SAC information. Process warranty claims for customers. Place numerous phone calls to draw in new or previous customers. Assisting to keep inventory properly tagged and itemized. Educate customers of proper wheel and tire care. Responsible for keeping floor properly stocked. Maintain a clean and stocked showroom. Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

Previous experience in customer service, account executive, sales representative, and account manager. Strong communication skills. Strategic planning abilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must communicate clearly and concisely while demonstrating active listening skills. Must speak professionally and effectively to potential customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, and percentages to calculate taxes and sales receipts.

REASONING ABILITY

Must apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have knowledge of industry standard software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to multi‑task at a high level. Must be able to prospect new customers through varied channels. Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, grasping with hands, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must perform duties in an office environment under temperature‑controlled conditions. The noise level is generally moderate.
