Accounting Clerk Beaumont, TX (Onsite) $18.52/Hour Full-Time | Contract Opportunity with LHH LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for an onsite opportunity in Beaumont, Texas. This role is ideal for candidates with strong data entry and administrative skills who enjoy supporting accounting operations in a fast-paced office environment. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Accounting Manager and assist with a variety of accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end activities. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain pledge and payment information within company systems Process and update monthly payment records and statements Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Assist with payroll data entry and related accounting functions Prepare, scan, file, and maintain supporting documentation Perform accurate paper and electronic filing Assist with bank reconciliations and deposit verification Research discrepancies and identify missing items Support month-end closing activities, including recurring journal entries Follow up on overdue invoices and assist with invoice processing Assist with money counting and other accounting department projects Complete general administrative and clerical tasks as assigned Qualifications Certificate from a college or technical school preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-6 months of accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or related experience Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy Proficiency with business office equipment and standard computer applications Ability to perform 10-key by touch Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities Desired Skills Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Data Entry Payroll Support Bank Reconciliations Filing and Document Management Microsoft Office Suite General Accounting Support Pay Details: $18.52 per hour Search managed by: Abigail Revalee Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
